Can't Get Enough Of Koichi
A lot of artists have style, but Koichi Fujii has it by the truckload. His distinctly graphic work uses colour and shape to create a style that is highly atmospheric, contemporary and well, basically, really cool. Koichi names photographers like Guy Bourdin and Jeanloup Sieff as major influences, and he worked as an Art Director for many years before turning to illustrating some 4 years ago. Clients who have been wowed by his work have included Celebrity magazine, Wellington Handwriting, Scope, Health and Fitness magazine, and Kensington magazine. It is Koichi’s love of the dramatic fashion image that drives much of his work. His dream job is to one day apply his cool stylings to advertising images for a major fashion company.
