Both completed for the LA Times, Robert Carter creates these first-rate portraits of Romney and Obama. Very much of the moment, the portraits were used for articles with the tag lines: "The Romney we see on the campaign trail doesn’t seem to be the one revered by friends and colleagues." and "Frustrated at bridge-building, Obama's campaign gambles that partisanship can play to its advantage."
