Two powerful new illustrations by Masha Karpushina feature in the premiere edition of State of Play.
It's a new political magazine whose ethos is "to let writers and artists examine how they encounter politics and global issues, making for a visually compelling and highly personal take on the state of the world." All artworks featured in the magazine were on show for the launch party in London last month, and limited edition prints are available too.

New Logo For The Young Creative Network
This intriguing logo design is the brainchild of Masha Karpushina who has just completed it for the opening of the Swedish Branch of the Young Creative Network (YCN).
Commissioned by Josefine Engstrom, the design will be used as a screen print on promotional material. Masha's brief was to illustrate "a happy abstract pattern" around the words 'YCN Agency'. In addition, she was given a range of 6 colours to use, and asked to avoid black altogether.

This hot piece of drawing comes from the talented hand of Masha Karpushina and is her entry for a Moscow Museum of Modern Art competition this month.
The competition is run for illustrators and is based on the title of “wi-fi” and ways that demonstrate how the internet is shaping the way illustrators work.

Everybody Loves The Sunshine
This eye grabbing piece of work comes from the talented fingertips of Masha Karpushina.
Commissioned by EMI for their production music branch KPM to create a CD cover for Indie Movie House, Masha's unique style was perfect for the brief. The cover required a quirky indie feel and to be representative of the music inside.

Karpushina and Armada
Masha Karpushina has delivered an outstanding project for Armada. The US based mega brand commissioned Masha to fulfill the design needs for their latest must have winter 10/11 product; the Men's AR7 skis. So good was the output that the design was then modified to suit Men's Apparel Jackets, the designs also appear on their website.

Karpushina’s Collaboration
"I think this is the beginning of a really great relationship" are Masha Karpushina words of her collaboration with the very talented photographer Mili Malinovic.
The two creators got together through lexposure and decided to “see where the forces took them”. Another exciting element is the collaboration of a third talented young man, that being Masha’s son who’s nursery drawings are skilfully included. The images are being pubished in Open Lab Magazine.
