Commissioned by Strudel, Montana Forbes has created some top drawings for The Colt E2 Brochure.
Montana was asked to produce five illustrations for the booklet which shows off a new living complex in East London's Bethnal Green. Each had to depict residents who would occupy the apartments, socialise and work in the surrounding areas. The results are great looking artworks, which work particularly well in the final design. Montana says "It was good fun and very interesting to make up the characters...the chosen demographic being 20-30....creative and fashion forward but very individual in look."

Heather Landis's photo illustrations for HR Magazine give the feature on pension supplements a vintage feel. Her style is a successful choice, giving the article a flavour of class and beauty.

Technomarine Quest

The Golden Skull

Montana Forbes's work for Technomarine Watches culminated in an interactive online campaign. Featured in the magazine section of the website, Montana was asked to create the main character of the story (Paul) and his friends in various scenarios following the quest to find the "Golden Skull". She says "...the backdrop scene was St. Tropez sunset parties, luxury yachts and a hidden island villa." The illustrated film ran for 2 months on their website with the winner receiving $30,000.00.

 

Ms Virgo

Chrissy Lau has been commissioned by Red Magazine to illustrate the star sign Virgo for their September issue. She was asked to create something that was in her signature style: intricate hair, detailed patterns and cascading floral blooms.

Primal Instincts

Daniel O'Leary produces an amusing illustration for Gotham Magazine, New York.

To accompany an article describing how 'even ladies with a certain level of decorum and sophistication can be reduced to their most basic primal instincts when battling for coveted designer clothes', Daniel's realistic style makes the situation look quite plausible!

Hand letterer Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn  joins the artists at Illustration, bringing a fabulous obsession with chalk!

India on Glass

Shailesh Khandeparkar's design for glass brings together pattern, shape and colour with much confidence. He was asked to work as art director and illustrator for this commission from a glass company in India who wanted to promote the Indian characters and visuals so typical of the country. Choosing The Mughal King of India as the main focus of the artwork, Shailesh's final piece will look stunning on the glassware.
