Duncan Beedie illustrates an article for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Bulletin. The challenge, which Duncan has succeeded in tremendously was to visually express "the transferral of patients' medical data to a global online

Tom Wolfe
Kathryn Rathke produces another top portrait for Intelligent Life of Tom Wolfe. Kathryn is a regular contributor for their "Notes on a Voice"
section, in which they choose an author, not necessarily contemporary, on whom
to focus and discuss. She says "In almost every single reference photo that I found of
Mr. Wolfe, no matter what his age, he has this playful, impish smile."

Obama and Romney
Both completed for the LA Times, Robert Carter creates these first-rate portraits of Romney and Obama. Very much of the moment, the portraits were used for articles with the tag lines: "The Romney we see on the campaign trail doesn’t seem to be the one revered by friends and colleagues." and "Frustrated at bridge-building, Obama's campaign gambles that partisanship can play to its advantage."

Luxury Homes
This editorial illustration from Willie Ryan was commissioned by The Telegraph last month. Used in their 'Luxury Homes' lifestyle magazine, each of the images appeared as a column width drop-in, over a two page spread. The article was about future Europeans living in spacious modern homes awash with touch-screen technology and robots!
