Duncan Beedie joins Movember to raise cash and awareness for Prostate Cancer.
And not one to stop at the growth of his own 'tash', Duncan has also created five fantastic 'famous moustache' artworks which are now up for auction. You can enjoy the facial grooming of Freddie Mercury, Hulk Hogan, Magnum PI, Ron Burgundy and Ron Swanson as unique A3 giclée prints.
With 100% of the money going to the very worthy cause, bidding is open until Thursday 21st November.

Wear Some Beedie

Duncan Beedie's character designs have found their way onto some cool clothing from 'Mild West Heroes'. Looking quite fab, the T-shirts are 'original designs from the west country' and are made from organic cotton. 'Old Timer' and 'Metaller' can be purchased here.

Rhymes My Mother Never Told Me

Duncan Beedie's collection of illustrations for 'Rhymes My Mother Never Told Me' by Bill Burkland live up to the hilarious nature of the book. An 'anthology of puerile, childish rhymes about all things toilet-based' suited Duncan's humour down to the ground! With pieces such as 'Sweet Bread Farts', 'Tony's Tiny Bladder' and 'The Poop Between Her Toes', you can imagine how much fun Duncan had! The book is out now.

Trunki's Paddlepaks

With Duncan Beedie's fine character animation talents, Trunki's ad for the new range of summer swimming/beach bags is now aired. Duncan was brought to the project as a house client for Aardman Animations and used Adobe Flash to create the character animation for the lobster, jellyfish, octopi and clown fish. The new 'Paddlepaks', shaped like underwater creatures are a fun new range from the popular brand Trunki, the ad can be seen here.

Leon

Duncan Beedie works on this alternative poster for the film 'Leon'.  Produced as a personal piece, the image uses cleverly composed objects with simplicity and texture to make an attention grabbing piece.

RCSLT Bulletin

Duncan Beedie illustrates an article for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Bulletin. The challenge, which Duncan has succeeded in tremendously was to visually express "the transferral of patients' medical data to a global online database in order help patients and doctors discern medical trends on localised and regional scales".

Pictoplasma Character Compendium

Duncan Beedie is very proud to be part of the newly published Pictoplasma Character Compendium. With his Yeti illustration featured inside he says "As an illustrator and character designer, the Pictoplasma series has been a massive inspiration to me over the years, so to have an illustration in their latest publication is a massive honour for me."

GOSH Monsters

New illustrator with us Duncan Beedie, has been having fun with this charity project for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Primary school children and patients at the hospital were asked to design some monsters which were then given to professional illustrators to develop. Duncan was asked to redraw a monster called 'Squiggle Butt' seen here, which was originally created by children at Normond Croft Primary School. The whole project has been turned into a fantastic book led by the project's curator, Clark Beecroft. It is due out on May 14th and will raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
