Mark Wiggins, head of Art at The Gang - Singapore, says of the result "Chris did a beautiful illustration for us that really leapt off the page and created great cut-through in the newspaper. He's quick, upbeat and enthusiastic. He made the whole process of working-with-an-illustrator-by-telephone-over-10,000-km-away extremely pleasant. Our client, Volkswagen Singapore, is very happy."

Zumba Kids

Ben Tallon has fun with these posters for the Zumba Kids campaign in the US.
Commissioned by Zumba Fitness in Florida, Ben was asked to use his electrifying lines to create some dynamic art. The results have gained a superb reaction; he says "Zumba chose me for the energy in my work and wanted me to bring their photography to life with vibrant mark making. They provided 'personality profiles' for a series of fifteen children of different ages and I created three dimensional environments based on these."

The Beetson Compendium

cover of journal

A dream of a job came the way of Sarah Beetson who was asked to create many illustrations to be used in a journal for Compendium. She says "It was a lovely open brief and I had control over the art direction of the entire journal illustrating quotes about natural beauty alongside florals, botanicals and birds. I even got to create my own lined pages!" The final book is a gorgeous celebration of Sarah's work as well as a handy jotter for your day's thoughts! Take a look at the journal.

Boom Artwork aka Eric Van Den Boom recently participated in a music and arts festival entitled Solar Weekend 2013. Working alongside Maarten Berkers, Eric created an installation consisting of an interactive mural. Eric says "This year's theme was 'experiment'......(the installation) allowed festival visitors to create their own fantastical creatures by rotating three circular boards with different body parts illustrated on them. Visitors could place their heads through the holes in the mural, making a perfect photo opportunity". Eric used his skills to complete the lettering on either side, whilst Maarten created the central illustration for this theatrical piece.
