Watch Out for the Cat’s Eyes
Tiger and Snow Leopard are just two of the mesmerising paintings on show at Andrew Hutchinson's one-man annual exhibition next month. North Yorkshire artist Andrew will be exhibiting in his home town with over 30 original paintings and a wide range of limited edition prints. He says of the show “I wanted to explore the beauty and depth of the eyes of animals. Get the eyes right and the animal comes alive.”
Principally known for his paintings of British wildlife and farming subjects, you can see more of Andrew’s work for one day only at Sunnyfield House, Guisborough, North Yorkshire TS14 6BA on Saturday 9th November 2013.

Witches Trees
Inspired by a story of witchcraft and murder, Steinar Lund produces this suitably eerie illustration. The tale, set in 1737 in a town in Wiltshire, tells of the death of 130 people and the blame given to four sisters who were subsequently accused of witchcraft. Steinar's illustration and video show the 'Witches Trees', the place where each one was buried after their murder.

Lang is one of the finest*
Helen Lang works on several product and packaging concepts for the Tesco finest* range.
Commissioned by P&W London, Helen created the hand lettering for three dipping oils and rapeseed oil. She says "The brief was to make it look hand rendered as though someone had created their own infusions and written on the labels as a home cook would do." More products with Helen's work will be released soon.

Pikka Pikka
Chrissy Lau is commissioned by Pikka Pikka to develop a series of patterns for their micro fibre cleaning cloths for spectacles.
Chrissy was asked to create whimsical and endearing designs and ones that would appeal to a younger audience. The results are five artworks, which have proved to be incredibly popular.
Simon Kuong of Pikka Pikka said of Chrissy's work "I came across Chrissy's work on the Internet and was instantly attracted to her unique style and the amount of detail in her art. Her communication is timely and her work has won us many great comments from our customers. It is often said success is not only to rely on one's talent but more importantly attitude, and Chrissy has shown she has both. I wish her every success and would highly recommend her as an artist and illustrator."

VW Celebrate German Unity Day
Celebrating the 23rd German Unity Day, Volkswagen Centre-Singapore commissioned Chris to use his skills on this graffiti style illustration. The day consisited of 'great savings and fun activities for the whole family' whilst observing the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Mark Wiggins, head of Art at The Gang - Singapore, says of the result "Chris did a beautiful illustration for us that really leapt off the page and created great cut-through in the newspaper. He's quick, upbeat and enthusiastic. He made the whole process of working-with-an-illustrator-by-telephone-over-10,000-km-away extremely pleasant. Our client, Volkswagen Singapore, is very happy."
