Gaby's Angel

Gaby's Angel, adorning Hannah Davies's jewel-like drawings is now on sale. Written by Janet Hoggarth and published by Oxford University Press, the book aimed at young girls is about friendship and growing up. Hannah says "I thoroughly enjoyed this fun girly book cover! It was pleasing creating a commission for Oxford University press, and working with such wonderful people."

Great Wall Of Comedy

Working with Red Bee Media, Emma Rios produces art for the promotion of Jo Brand's new comedy TV Show. 

'Great Wall of Comedy' airing on the Gold channel from next week is all about sitcom classics; such as Faulty Towers and Only Fools & Horses. Emma was asked to create a wall of TV's which are currently being used in the promotional posters. Emma says " I love old vintage TV's so illustrated these. The photos of Jo & Co. where taken separately so I had to make it work as one piece. (I) love going past the billboards on the tube!"

And now available to buy, this book is hard to resist purchasing because of the beauty of Kavel's drawing. Karen Wilks, designer of the book says "Working with Kavel was an absolute pleasure, with over 60 illustrations in the book we worked in batches. Kavel understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and was very accommodating and all the deadlines were met on time. The day each batch arrived was a day I really looked forward to, it was like unwrapping presents, every one was a gem and her compositions and colour palette worked perfectly. Kavel brings warmth and humour to all her work combining her painting and photoshop skills beautifully with a small nod towards her interest in the 50’s and 60’s.
