Mortal Business





Richard Phipps creates fabulous spreads for France's 'Liberation Next'. The story entitled Mortal Business is set in the future where people with terminal illnesses sell their life insurances to make money. Richard's classic work looks wonderful in this popular magazine.

Richard Phipps is the proud artist behind these beautifully crafted bicycle saddles by Brooks England. Richard's work is on the box too and has been highlighted in a recent Telegraph article, the saddle is a limited edition of only 2012 made, which 'features hand hammered copper rivets and Richard's 1920's re styled engraving'

Descartes



This characterful portrait from Richard Phipps was commissioned by Julien Bouquet for Editions Bayard. Sensitively drawn, the cover is an image of Rene Descartes, the famous French philosopher and mathematician for a book about his life.
