Nautical set of notes
Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn works with the Post-it® team to produce designs for their Signature Series Notes.
3M approached Shauna at the beginning of 2013 with the idea of making designs geared for 'a creative woman who loves the little things in life'. After plenty of sketching the result was four different designs, of which the 'chalk set' was chosen. Shauna has since been commissioned by the same team to supply a nautical themed set of notes, she says "The final for this set is my favorite of all the designs I created. I had such a wonderful time working with the Post-it® brand and creating two final sets of Signature Series notes for them. I’ve been keeping this project secret for over 6 months now, so needless to say I am incredibly excited for its release so I can tell all my friends about it! Thank you, Post-it® brand, for such a wonderful and fun opportunity".

Pastai

the menu

Chrissy Lau creates several wonderful drawings for Pastai; 'an intimate artisan pasta bar located in Chelsea (NYC)'.
Commissioned to use her detailed lines to illustrate pasta & the Italian map, Chrissy's 'wholesome' drawings have been used beautifully for a restaurant 'that serves fresh handmade pasta paired with authentic sauces from southern Italy.'
Chrissy says "The illustrations captured the handmade quality of the pasta to help inform and educate the customers about the history and tradition of pasta making in Italy. Inspiration was taken from the engaging stories of the client's childhood in Sicily where she would watch her grandma Francesca make fresh pasta every day. The illustrations represented the brand’s personality, creating a distinct visual identity, print collateral and packaging."

Scrapbook Notebook 5

We are very excited by the arrival of issue 5 in our Scrapbook notebook series.  The cover art is by Ian Murray.  A great article by Garrick Webster on four of our illustrators inspired by Victorian artists and thanks to Geoff Cox and Rohan Eason  for permission to reproduce an extract from "Anna and the Juniper Dog".
