Taking her ever-expressive lettering skills out of the studio and into the photo-shoot is Ruth Rowland's work for Psychologies Magazine — a commission that involved painting directly onto the model's body.
The magazine's feature article is about how a person's emotional state and life history is reflected in their body. Says Ruth: "It was a tricky brief as I had to work on the curved surface of the skin with body paint. But it's a good example of an adventurous brief expanding my horizons."
