Hennessey Best Dressed Lady
Katharine Asher's super art for Irish International has been used to beautiful effect recently. Last weekend saw the annual Hennessy Gold Cup take place at Leoparstown racecourse. In addition to providing the trophy and prize for the race, Hennessy have a 'best dressed lady competition' for which Katharine's illustration was used. The image could be seen on posters to promote the event, online for the Facebook application and also in the Best Dressed Lady Marquee on the actual day.

Indola
This beautifully confident illustration is one of a series by Katharine Asher completed for Indola Hair Products in Germany. The artworks were to convey 'hairstyling' using the company's products and to incorporate the blue from their logo. Used for direct publicity in Germany, each drawing was accompanied by 3 'how to' drop in illustrations.

Ice Cream Parlour Treats
Katharine Asher has produced these delights for a prominent London Store. Used in the publicity which recently opened their new ice cream parlour, Katharine produced more than 40 illustrations and says of the commission, “ They wanted my gestural, more free style but to pick out an element in a realistic style, (it was) quite challenging to make this work.”

Gymnastics Stamp
More Olympics stamp work comes from Katharine Asher with her kinetic gymnast. The run up to London 2012 is an exciting time and to celebrate with books of illustrated stamps adds extra weight to the event. Katharine is amongst other very fine talent in producing these, commissioned by Studio David Hillman.

Asher’s Glamour
Bringing more style to Glamour magazine is Katharine Asher’s cover piece. She was asked to do an illustration as if it was a famous Glamour cover , which was then printed on small notepads and given with the emagazine to all customers. Beautiful.
