Live drawing expert Jacqueline Bissett draws at two fashion store events.
Taking place in October, the first was for Space NK at their Broadwick Street W1 branch. The event was for the launch of an amazing range of make up called "By Terry" (the make up artist who invented YSL's touche eclat). Beauty editors from Elle, The Guardian, Top Sante, Psychologies magazines & known beauty bloggers were treated to a makeover then passed over to Jacqueline to illustrate. She says "I met some fantastic people and really talented make up artists and had a fabulous day drawing fabulous people!"
And last month, Jacqueline was invited to a Warehouse event at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. After having a make-over, lucky customers were then given the Bissett treatment by having their 'new look' beautifully drawn on paper. Jacqueline says "I drew the public for a pre-xmas event and Warehouse staff of course! Had a great day and did about 15 illustrations over 8 hours!"

These 3 spreads are just a flavour of what you can see in the latest Thomas Sabo Charm Club Catalogue illustrated once again by Jacqueline Bissett. Jacqueline continues to indulge us with her loose lines and swirls, for that confident and 'free' style she has mastered. She says "(I am) just starting the 2014 diary and I'm glad that I have a chance to continue with 'Lucy's adventures'".

Thomas Sabo Diary 2013
Jacqueline Bissett completes another gorgeous diary for Thomas Sabo Charm Club. Working closely with Ingeborg Schindler at AHD (Offenbach) who designed the layouts, Jacqueline drew herself silly with this job! Having illustrated the diaries before, she feels quite at home with the client. Jacqueline says "I love doing this job, it's so great to be able to improve what you've done before and to put 'Luzy' in new situations, it's always fun to start sketching, I draw literally hundreds of pages of figures before the final ones are chosen"

Look Magazine Fashion Show
Jacqueline Bissett has spent a day drawing at the Look Magazine fashion event, which took place last week and opened by Kelly Brook. Situated at The Royal Courts of Justice, Jacqueline was given a new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as her drawing tool, which they also very kindly gave her! Jacqueline created some drawings of the Look prize winners and some other guests and sponsors. The 'sitters' were then emailed their 5/10 minute fashion sketches. She says "It was quite a challenge as I (normally) do everything by hand....it was quite a fun day!"
The day has also been featured in Look magazine, for more information on the event go here.

A Big Draw
Among the artists, cartoonists, designers and other celebrities adding their drawings to the giant frame at Covent Garden's Big Draw earlier this month, was our very own Jacqueline Bissett who can be seen here drawing this 6ft fashion figure.
With a single hour allotted to draw, the pressure was certainly on. But says Jacqueline: "the kids were all up close watching which was a great distraction from my nerves." Please see http://www.campaignfordrawing.org for more information on the event.

Tatler Makeover
Giving the fashion world an illustrative makeover this month is Jacqueline Bissett and these exquisite pieces for Tatler magazine.
Jacqueline has been commissioned for several jobs at Tatler recently, the latest of which was for an article on plastic surgery.“The brief was a layout mocked up with my images as they had a good idea of what they wanted", explains Jacqueline. “This involved a head and shoulders and a side view of a cropped figure to show off the breasts!”
