Ella Helps Out

A couple of months back a team from the design agency iLovedust UK came up with an idea to publish a book of graphic design, illustration and photography to raise money to help charities deal with the Tsunami crisis in Asia. Ella Tjader, queen of the feminine and beautiful line has been selected to appear in the book, along with some 240 contributors. “A Book Designed to Help” will be launched around March 15th by the renowned design publisher Die Gestalten Verlag (dgv). It’s an affordable hardback indulgent book containing over 1000 artworks across 304 pages. Ella’s distinct and elegant style will be sure to lift the page. Ella is so Stylish!

The princess of all things girly and pretty Ella was recently commissioned by Linda Burrows at the Style supplement of The Sunday Times to illustrate an article all about the shenanigans of the infamous Notting Hill tribe. A beautiful, summery Primrose Hill with bird and flowers was the backdrop for the tale of saucy going ons!

Ella Lights Up Arabia

Ella Tjader has just finished beautifully illustrating "The Arabian Nights" commissioned by German publisher Die Gestalten Verlag Ellas incredibly rich and lavish illustrations add a touch of magic to these classic tales!

Tjader illustrates for Scottish Writer

A recent job for Ella Tjader was to create not only an audio book/CD cover but also poster and tickets for a public reading event. A.L. Kennedy is a famous Scottish writer whose event was run by the Glasgow OXFAM book shop in association with RNIB Scotland. The beauty in Ella’s work gives the designs such a feminine feel.

Tjader in Nylon

Japanese fashion magazine Nylon of Dazed and Confused have used Ella Tjader in a truly dreamy manner. Creating a romantic world for models in a spring denim collection, Tjader has drawn on her elegant lines to produce yet another lulling artwork. Riza Fujimoto was the commissioner.

Tjader In Magical Garden

The magical stylings of Ella Tjader's illustration work has conjured up some quite beautiful packaging for Parfums de Coeur USA. Ella was commissioned by Neil Davis of Neil Davis Design (USA) to create packaging for the body spray gift sets that would reflect the "fantasy" feel of the product. Ella's designs were applied to two sets of packaging.

Tjader's New Look

Currently looming large in store and on-line is Ella Tjader's beautiful new artwork for New Look's Christmas campaign. Jeremy Baxter at New Look commissioned Ella to produce designs that would work across window displays, banners and gift cards - as well on the store's website. Ella's distinctive touch was also applied to the company's logo.

Spotted Everywhere

Splashed large across UK advertising spaces is Ella Tjader's stunning new work for skin product Oxy.

Based upon the 'before-and-after' notion, and aimed squarely at a teenage audience, Ed Bones at Ogilvy Health World commissioned Ella to create an image that would have punch and pazazz across a range of advertising media.

Ella’s delicate and decorative style was perfectly suited to this brief which was to design packaging motifs for the seasons, Spring/Summer, which was released on Mother’s Day and the soon to be released Autumn.
