Bondi Republic


Enjoy Dennis Juan Ma's gorgeous illustration for Australia Magazine, showing the dark and light side of life on Bondi Beach. He says of the commission, "Bondi Republic is a photographic journey book for Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.  It mainly features the community, sports, tattoos, bikinis and skaters.  Although it’s a photographic book, the publisher wanted to use an illustration as the intro page."

Tiger Translate


An exciting piece of news from Dennis Juan Ma recently involves his entry for ‘Tiger Translate’ this year, part of his artwork will be used for the visual of next year's event in the theme of ‘Growth’.
Dennis says: "...Tiger Translate is Tiger Beer’s cross-cultural creative platform. It highlights Asia’s brightest creatives and facilitates collaboration with Western visionaries through a series of events, exhibitions and publications. We’ve scoured Asia’s visual art, design, music and photography scenes to find those who are pushing the limits in their respective fields...."

Sideroom Winner


Dennis Juan Ma is the proud winner of the latest Red Bull Art Competition "Stereoption" held by Sideroom Magazine.

Dennis’s striking artwork caught the eye of judges and readers alike and was chosen alongside two other great artists to take part in a live painting in New Zealand. Lucky spectators will be able to witness the artwork being blown up to the size of a building!

Graffiti Revolution


Humour and imagination all in one witty children’s graphic novel called ‘Graffiti Revolution’.

Simplicity was the brief to Dennis Juan Ma but humour had to resonate throughout this inspired piece commissioned by a New Zealand education publisher 'Simply Literacy'. The story itself was simple, it talks about how an evil dictatorial duke learnt to be kind and humorous.
