Freakscape is the title of an installation by Philip Smiley starting June 17th and running to July 15th at the bstore, 24a Savile Row, London.
Inspired by the rural upbringing of his childhood in Virginia, Philip’s installation “explores the curiosity and carelessness of youth set in the mysterious environment of a surreal wilderness.” Philip will be working in various mediums including illustration, sculptural and found objects to convey the feeling of ever-encroaching nature over what appears to be an innocent, and perhaps naive, scene.
